I had a very negative and unprofessional experience at this hospital in Oklahoma City, and I strongly advise others to be cautious.
There was a clear racial divide in the workplace, with only a few Black employees in the department. Leadership treatment and communication felt different depending on who you were. Experienced employees were often overlooked for promotions while less experienced employees were given opportunities through favoritism.
One supervisor in Nuclear Medicine refused to speak directly to me and would toss items onto the desk instead of handing them properly. Even after addressing the behavior, it did not change, which was disrespectful and unprofessional.
The most disturbing experience was being called a slave by a patient. When I reported it, management minimized the situation and compared it to being called ugly, which showed a lack of support for racial harassment.
There were also serious hygiene and professionalism concerns in the workplace, including a poorly located employee bathroom that often smelled bad and raised concerns about sanitation in a healthcare environment.
Overall, this was a toxic work environment, and I would caution others considering employment or services there.
